- What does nonprofit event management software help with?
- It helps a nonprofit organize the work around an event: registration, attendee records, tasks, volunteers, schedules and sponsor commitments. ADGEvents also supports trip coordination and CRM records. Your team still makes program decisions, verifies supplier arrangements and manages any tools outside the platform.
- Is there free event software for small nonprofits?
- ADGEvents has a verified nonprofit free plan with up to 3 events per workspace. Paid nonprofit plans start at $588 per year, billed annually. Plan limits and features vary. The nonprofit free plan lists a 2.5% site fee on paid tickets, plus payment processing fees; subscriptions use live Stripe checkout, and paid tickets require approved live Stripe Connect setup.
- Can we use it for charity events, galas and community programs?
- Yes. Teams can use event tasks, free registration, volunteer shifts, schedules and sponsor deliverables for these programs. Dedicated gala table seating, donation tax receipts and silent-auction bidding or checkout are not yet available. Use your existing donation or auction provider for those needs.
- Can we run mission trips and fundraising events in the same account?
- Yes. An organization can manage events and trips, with linked people, tasks, and financial records. Individual modules retain their own records and permissions; changes do not automatically update every program. Live flight and hotel purchasing through Travelport is coming soon.
- Does ADGEvents replace our donor CRM?
- It provides general CRM contacts, companies, deals, forms and outreach workflows. It is not a dedicated donation accounting system. You can export supported contact and registration records for your team to map into a donor CRM; direct donor-CRM synchronization is not yet available.
- How do you handle passports and medical information?
- Supported sensitive traveler fields use application-level encryption and authorized reveal logging. Uploaded documents and ordinary form answers use different storage and access controls. Use designated sensitive fields, collect only what is needed, and review the Trust Center for the protection scope.
- How should we evaluate the platform before our first event?
- Start with a small free event. Ask a colleague to register, review the record with the correct organization selected, and test QR check-in on the device you will use. Walk through a volunteer application and shift, add a sponsor deliverable, and check the plan limits and current payment availability before inviting your audience.
